Science Fair and the Director´s Collegium held at ISŠ-COP Valašské Meziříčí in December 2018
Close cooperation with schools in the region represents an important aspect of our corporate social responsibility. Hence, neither this year, did we miss the opportunity to be a part of the Science Fair event organized by ISŠ-COP Valašské Meziříčí, which is gaining in popularity. Based on the organizers’ assessments, 600 pupils from elementary schools in Valašské Meziříčí and the surrounding areas attended the event. The aim of the festival is, not only to introduce the school and its studying programs to the pupils but, to arouse their interest in the fields of science, technology, chemistry and physics in entertaining way.
Our company also regularly attends the Director´s Collegium, which is a meeting of companies from the Vsetin region with the school’s Director and his Advisory Board. Representatives of 11 companies, which have been actively cooperating with the school, particularly in the field of vocational education, attended the Collegium on 26 November 2018. Among the topics discussed were the endeavour to recruit new pupils, construction of a new multifunctional sports hall on the school grounds, recognition of the successful attainment of Responsible Care Certificate and acknowledgement of the fact that the school was awarded the Sustainable Development Award.
