Award for significant corporate help in social, cultural, sports, educational and other fields
Kayaku Safety Systems Europe received the Vsetín Mayor's Award for significant help, especially in the field of social, cultural, sports, educational and leisure activities. The company participates both organizationally and financially in ensuring a campaign aimed at preventing breast cancer called the Pink Ribbon Day. The event is organized in cooperation with ZO ONKO-DUHA Vsetín and Vsetín Hospital. The company also supports education in the field of safety and fire sport, as well as the children's units of the volunteer fire brigade in Vsetín. Together with other partners, Kayaku organized activities for public in Vsetin, the so-called Safety Days or Precise ride with Kayaku.
Cooperation of Kayaku with Diakonia Vsetin charity has been going on since 2006, and the regularity of this support is seen as crucial, as well as contribution to the stabilization of Diakonia's economic situation. Above all it has been the help in establishing the Vyhlidka Home for 22 seniors and the establishment of the new Devětsil Home Hospice service. The management's interest in activities, including their participation in events, is also highly valued by Diakonia.
Kayaku also regularly participates in public events focused on ecology, such as “Let´s clean the world” or “To work by bike”. Additional help from the award-winning organization is directed, for example, to the Vsetin Hospital, Vsetin Charity, local schools or the Asylum House for Mothers with Children.i.
